• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the reappointment of C.S. Rajan as the part-time Chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
• His new term is effective from January 1, 2026, and will continue until October 21, 2027.
• ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਬੈਂਕ (ਆਰਬੀਆਈ) ਨੇ ਸੀਐਸ ਰਾਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਟਕ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਬੈਂਕ ਦਾ ਪਾਰਟ-ਟਾਈਮ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
• ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 21 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2027 ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
