• G Manuneethi, widely known as the U-turn Man, is in news for his transformative, low-cost traffic innovations across Tamil Nadu that created multiple signal-free corridors.

• A civil engineer from Theni, served 30+ years in TN Highways Dept. & Road Safety Wing.
• Introduced roundabouts and shifted U-turns to replace traffic signals.
• Designed the U-turn model by closing old junctions and shifting turns 100 m away, enabling free-flow traffic.

• ਥੇਨੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਵਲ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਨੇ ਟੀਐਨ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ 30+ ਸਾਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
• ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਸਿਗਨਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਗੋਲ ਚੱਕਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਯੂ-ਟਰਨ ਬਦਲੇ।
• ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਮੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਯੂ-ਟਰਨ ਮਾਡਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ।
