- The UAE has launched its first Sovereign Mobility Cloud, a secure digital platform designed to accelerate the country's autonomous transport ambitions.
- The initiative was announced during the Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport.
- The platform is a collaboration between UAE-based Space42, Core42's Sovereign Public Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- By leveraging the Sovereign Public Cloud on Microsoft Azure, all data generated by autonomous transport systems will be hosted and governed within the UAE's national boundaries.
